The Hoopa Warriors stretched their winning streak to four straight on the softball field with two more wins to open the Spring Break Invitational tournament in Medford on Monday.
The Hoopa girls defeated Willamina 12-6 and Brookings 10-0.
Senior Tatianna Colegrove had another big day, both in the circle and at the plate.
Two days after striking out 24 batters in a doubleheader sweep at Arcata, the senior standout had 25 more strikeouts on Monday, including 15 against Brookings.
Colegrove also carried her hot bat into tournament play, finishing 2-for-3 with an in-the-park home run in game one.
Diamond Bibancos added a triple in that win, while teammates Nae-Rew Martin, Bella Valentine, Jewely Bibancos and Millenia McKindley each also had a base hit.
Jewely Bibancos also hit a home run against Brookings, while McKindley added a triple and Diamond Bibancos went 2-for-2.
Valentine also made some noise at the plate in game two and finished 2-for-4, while Colegrove and Martin each was 1-for-4.
With the opening-day sweep, the Warriors improved to 4-2 on the season.
They will continue tournament play with two more games on Tuesday.
