The Hoopa Warriors got their first win in league play on Thursday night, getting the better of South Fork in Hoopa by a score of 68-25.
With the win the Warriors improved to 1-2 in the Little 4 and 7-10 overall.
The victory ended a three-game losing streak for the Hoopa girls.
South Fork, meanwhile, dropped to 0-3 in the L4 halfway through the league schedule and the Cubs are now 4-9 overall.
The Cubs came out firing and put up 15 points in the first quarter but were unable to keep the momentum going.
Caidence Young scored 18 points for the Cubs, including going 14 of 15 from the free throw line.
Teammate Macy Yarbrough added four points and Kara Worswick chipped in two.
No stats were immediately available for Hoopa.
