The St. Bernard’s Crusaders got a much-needed win at the Walnut Creek boys basketball tournament on Thursday, defeating Mendocino 64-44.

The win ended a three-game losing skid for the Crusaders, who improved to 6-6.

Seth Dyer set the early tone for the SB boys, scoring 21 of his game-high 26 points in the first half.

The junior guard hit five 3-pointers, all of them in the opening half.

Aaiden Burris also had a big game and finished with 16 points, while Owen Shanahan and Liam Dyer each scored eight points and Tyler Dimmick four.

“We needed a win and we got it done,” head coach Issac Gildea said.

Burris was named to the all-tournament team.
