With rain expected this weekend, Redwood Acres Raceway officials have announced that Saturday’s race night has been canceled.

The weather forecast is predicting a nearly 100 percent chance of rain throughout the day.

The North State Modified Series was scheduled to make the first of two appearances at the local track and raceway officials said they will try to schedule a make-up date.

The season continues on June 22 with a race night that will coincide with the return of the Redwood Acres Fair for the first time since 2019.

The night will feature a full slate of action with the Late Models, Legends, Bombers, Mini Stocks and Roadrunners all scheduled to compete.
