Tanner Curran had an afternoon to remember on Friday as the South Fork Cubs swept a Little 4 baseball doubleheader in Miranda.
The Cubs got the better of Hoopa 12-2 in game one and 11-1 in game two.
Curran got the win on the mound in the opener, giving up just two runs and striking out five, and also had a big game at the plate, finishing 3-for-3 with a grand slam, two doubles and five RBIs.
John Harding also continued to impress for the Cubs.
In game one, he finished 3-for-4 with a triple, two doubles and three RBIs, and he followed that with two more hits and two more RBIs in the second game.
Harding got the win on the mound in game two as well, allowing one earned run and striking out six in a five-inning complete game.
Also for South Fork, Makani Buck Zulluim was 3-for-4 in the opener with two runs, while Justin Freitas finished 2-for-2 in the nightcap with a solo home run and two RBIs.

With the wins, the Cubs improved to 2-2 in the Little 4 and 4-7 overall, while Hoopa is now 0-4 and 1-8.
No stats were immediately available for the Warriors.
Next up on Tuesday, the Cubs will play a doubleheader at Point Arena, while Hoopa will play a single game at Trinity.
