Libby Johnston pitched a one-hit shutout, as the Fortuna Huskies rolled to a comfortable 12-0 win over South Fork in five innings in softball on Tuesday afternoon.

After walking the first South Fork batter, Johnston struck out the following 10 batters and finished with 14 strikeouts.

Kylee Fennell also had a big day at the plate, hitting a grand slam for the offensive highlight of the day, while teammate Catherine Duncan had a triple.

Kelsi Hall, Zoe Dewberry and Hannah Milhorn each also had a double to round out a big day at the plate for the Huskies.

The Fortuna girls will host St. Bernard’s on Wednesday.
