
Cal Poly Humboldt Athletics – Citlaly Davalos
The Lumberjacks continued to struggle on the basketball courts on Thursday night, as both the men’s and women’s teams lost at Cal Poly Pomona.
The Cal Poly Humboldt men suffered their seventh straight loss, falling 87-49, and dropped to 4-13 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association and 10-13 overall.
Jaden Edwards scored a team-high 17 points in the loss, while also grabbing six rebounds.
The Humboldt women, meanwhile, fell 68-57.
Madison Parry recorded her eighth double-double of the season in the loss, finishing with 23 points and 13 rebounds.
Jadence Clifton finished with seven points and five assists.
The loss was the fourth straight for the Humboldt women, who dropped to 6-10 in conference and 7-13 overall.
Both Humboldt teams will play at Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday.
