The College of the Redwoods women’s basketball team bounced back from a weekend loss to conference champion Butte with a 63-58 win at Shasta College on Wednesday night.

Ashley Quigley scored a team-high 23 points in the win, as the Corsairs improved to 6-3 in the Golden Valley Conference and guaranteed themselves a second-place finish.

Makaila Napoleon added 19 points in the win, while Rachel Valdez finished with 10 points.

The Corsairs, who are now 17-9 overall, will close out the regular season against Lassen at Shasta College on Saturday.
