The Hoopa Warriors kept their chances of a Little 4 title in girls basketball alive with a 45-36 win at home to South Fork on Monday night.
The win lifts a busy Warriors team to 2-1 in league play with three games remaining, all of them this week.
But they must win all three if they are to claim the league title outright.
Tatianna Colegrove scored a team-high 14 points in Monday’s win, while teammate Taylor Cole chipped in 12 points.
“Both teams played hard,” said Hoopa head coach Floyd “Cowboy” Billings, whose team has won both of its games since returning from a long layoff last week.
Savannah Colegrove added six points in the win.
The Warriors, who are now 3-8 overall, will play at St. Bernard’s on Tuesday night, before back-to-back games against league leaders Ferndale (4-0) on Wednesday (away) and Friday (home).
