By Ray Hamill — Some schedule changes have been announced for the Logger Classic, with Shasta unable to make the trip until Friday because of the weather.
The three-day tourney will still feature six teams, but there will now be just two games on the opening day and four on Friday.
The tournament gets under way on Thursday night with two all-local matchups.
Fortuna will play Ferndale at 6 p.m., followed by Eureka and McKinleyville at 7:30 p.m.
Shasta and Brookings-Harbor will both join the fray on Friday and will each play two games.
Friday’s games include McKInleyville and Brookings-Harbor at 4:30 p.m.; Ferndale and Shasta at 6; Eureka and Brookings-Harbor at 7:30; and Fortuna and Shasta at 9.
Saturday’s championship round will remain the same with games at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
