The South Fork girls won their first tournament of the season at Potter Valley on Saturday, getting the better of Willits 32-23 in the championship game.
Kaylee Cotter was named tourney MVP after another big performance in the championship game, as the Cubs won with some strong defense and held the Wolverines to just eight points in the second half.
Shawnessy Conway-O’Neill and Caidence Young each scored six points in the decider.
Summer Contreras was also named to the all-tournament team for the Cubs, who improved to 6-1 on the season.
The South Fork girls also defeated Mendocino 48-24 in Thursday’s tourney opener and followed that with a comprehensive 62-26 win over Potter Valley in Friday’s semifinal.
