The Corsairs lost their opening game at the Santa Rosa Crossover tournament in women’s basketball on Friday, falling 72-50 to the host school.

Ashley Quigley scored a team-high 18 points in the loss, while teammate Gracie Betts added 10 points.

The loss ended a three-game winning streak for the College of the Redwoods women, who dropped to 7-4.

The Corsairs will conclude the two-day tourney against San Mateo on Saturday.
