By Ray Hamill — The Arcata Tigers cruised into the semifinal round of the North Coast Section soccer playoffs on Saturday with an 8-0 victory over St. Helena at McKinleyville High.
Check out some of the first-half highlights above, as the Arcata girls opened up a 4-0 lead before halftime.
The Tigers will now play Credo next Wednesday with a spot in this year’s championship game up for grabs.
The Eureka girls also won their playoff game on Saturday, defeating Fortuna 3-0, while the McKinleyville girls fell 2-0 to Credo.
