By Ray Hamill — The McKinleyville Panthers have been forced to cancel this Saturday night’s football game against the Hoopa Warriors because of COVID protocols.

The Panthers announced the decision on Friday morning.

Both the varsity and JV games have been canceled.

Both schools are working on possibly rescheduling the game, although that will be difficult with just two weekends remaining in the regular season and games scheduled for both schools on those dates.
