The Del Norte Warriors posted their third win in four games in H-DNL soccer on Saturday, getting the better of South Fork 5-1.
Four different Del Norte players scored in the victory, including Chase Gardner, who netted twice, once in each half.
Yahir Alanis and Isaiah Sherman each also scored in the first half, with Mario Ledezma rounding out the scoring with a second-half strike.
“My boys played a good passing game with high efficiency, but credit to South Fork defense for being strong, including their goalkeeper,” Del Norte head coach David Sanyaolu said.
With the win, the Warriors improved to 3-4-2.
