By Ray Hamill — After suffering a hand injury in last week’s scrimmage against Ukiah, St. Bernard’s quarterback Drew Sisemore has been cleared to play in Saturday’s season opener.

The junior QB looked sharp in the scrimmage before leaving early and is expected to have a good season directing what is looking like a potent SB offense.

According to head coach Matt Tomlin, Sisemore practiced all week and had no issues with the injury.

The Crusaders play St. Vincent De Paul in Petaluma on Saturday night.
