The RELL All-Stars fell 11-1 to Rincon Valley at Turlock, and the Mack All-Stars lost 10-0 at Gilroy.
In other Little League action, the McKinleyville 12s also dropped the opening game of their tournament at Rocklin, falling 12-11 in a thriller against Turlock.
Rincon Valley got off to a quick start against RELL, scoring four runs in the bottom of the first inning, but RELL pitcher Kyle Giacone settled into the game and held the opposing bats scoreless over the next two innings.
RELL got on the scoreboard in the top of fourth inning.
Brayden Bermers led off the inning with a double to right center and scored moments later on a Riley Schneider single.
They almost added to their tally when Giacone walked and Sidney Mefford singled, before the inning ended on a hard line drive off the bat of Jake Vasquez that almost got by the first baseman for an extra-base hit.
Rincon Valley, however, added four more runs in the bottom of the fourth and three in the fifth to end the game on the 10-run rule.
At the plate for RELL, Bermers, Schneider, Mefford, Kade Pinochi and Jackson Sharp each had a base hit.
Giacone pitched 2.2 innings and took the loss on the mound, allowing just two earned runs on three hits and no walks, while striking out two.
Mefford and Wyatt Zeller both pitched in relief.
All three local teams will continue play at their double-elimination tournaments over the next couple of days.
The Mack 10s will be back in action on Sunday morning at 11 a.m.
The RELL 11s and Mack 12s will both have a day off before playing again on Monday.
The 12s play at 5 p.m., while the 11s play at 7 p.m.
