The Legends, Bombers, Mini Stocks and Roadrunners will all be in action at the Redwood Acres Raceway on Saturday, as the local season continues with the fourth event of the year.

The raceway will return to general admission after the state fully reopened this week and tickets ($10) will be available at the front gates.

Raceway officials are encouraging fans to purchase tickets before Saturday to prevent long lines at the ticket booth and allow for quicker and easier entrance to the grandstands. 

Tickets can be purchased through www.RacinTheAcres.com and are also available for cash only at the following local businesses: Automasters and Don’s Rent-All in Eureka, McKinleyville Barber Shop in McKinleyville and JC Auto In Fortuna. 

The front gates will open at 4 p.m., with racing starting at 5:30 p.m.

The Late Models will not be in action this weekend.

The main event winners from the most recent night’s racing were David Miller in the Late Models, Brandon White in the Legends, Loren Powers, Jr. in the Bombers, Colton Kinsey in the Mini Stocks and Steve Kimberling in the Roadrunners.
