By Ray Hamill — McKinleyville sophomore Soffia Reyes and Fortuna senior Connor Pratt are the fastest athletes in the H-DNL this year.

The lightning quick duo were crowed league champions in the 100 meters with dominating displays on Saturday.

Check out video highlights of both races above.

Reyes won with a PR of 12.47 seconds, ahead of Eureka’s Emily Pesch and Klayre Barres, and she also placed first in the 200 meters in a time of 26.25 seconds, ahead of Barres and Del Norte’s Tianna Thompson.

Reyes rounded out a big day with a victory in the 4x400m relay, along with teammates Mackenzie Bray, Olivia Rink and Kathryn Tinney.

With two years of high school competition still ahead of her, Reyes should only continue to get better.
