The McKinleyville girls stretched their winning streak to seven straight with a 21-5 win in five innings over visiting Ferndale on Tuesday afternoon.
The Panthers, who improved to 7-3, scored four runs in the first and never looked back, with several players stepping up once again.
No one more so than senior Ashley Ballew, who finished 3-for-3 with two triples, a double and five RBIs.
The ever-dangerous Trinity Preston also had a big day, finishing 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs, while fellow sophomore Camryn Pinard also was 3-for-4 with a triple.
Junior Allie Egbert pitched four innings for the win in the circle, allowing just one earned run on four hits and five walks, while striking out seven.
Egbert also had a big day at the plate, finishing 2-for-2 with a double, while Kennedy Minton was 2-for-4 with a double.
Mashell Stumpf pitched one hitless inning in relief, while also adding a double on offense.
Hoopa 14, St. Bernard’s 2
The Colegrove sisters continued to lead the way as the Hoopa girls continued to roll in H-DNL softball on Tuesday.
Savannah Colegrove struck out six for the win in the circle, while also finishing 3-for-3 at the plate, with a home run, a triple and a double.
Sister Tatianna Colegrove, meanwhile, finished 3-for-4.
K-Lynn Dowd also had a big game, finishing 2-for-2, as the Warriors improved to 8-0.
Hannah Finck had a big game for St. Bernard’s, finishing 2-for-3, while Courteney Goodman was 1-for-2 and Ella Jimenez 1-for-3.
