VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS — Hayden Bode accounts for three TDs in big win 

By Ray Hamill — A big second quarter lifted the Eureka Loggers to a 34-14 victory over the St. Bernard’s Crusaders on Saturday afternoon.

Trailing by a point going into the second quarter, the Loggers scored three unanswered TDs to pull away and never looked back.

Senior quarterback Hayden Bode accounted for the three of his team’s four first-half touchdowns, running in for two and also connecting with tight end Magnum West on an 11-yard scoring pass.

Fellow senior Keeb Her also scored on a one-yard run, while St. Bernard’s sophomore Owen Shanahan pulled in a 20-yard TD reception form QB Bode Joyner.

With the win, the Loggers improved to 4-0 and will close out the season next Friday night against the 4-0 Fortuna Huskies.
