Arcata girls go to 4-0 in H-DNL tennis

The Arcata Tigers continued to dominate the opposition in girls tennis on Tuesday, defeating Eureka 7-0 to go to 4-0 on the young season.

At No. 1 singles, Aimee Reiner defeated Eureka’s Lauren Albertini, 6-4, 6-0, for her third win in three matches this season.

At No. 2 singles, Kyra Alway won for the fourth time this season, defeating Kyra Dart in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1.

Melanie Luh and Judah White each also won for the Tigers at Nos. 3 and 4 singles without dropping a game, defeating Sophie Hill and Jordan Miles.

Jasmine McKnight won at No. 5, getting the better of Aloras Stinson, 6-2, 6-1, while Sierra Sobota defeated Kalea Michaud at No. 6 singles by a score of 6-2, 6-1.

On Saturday, Arcata defeated St. Bernard’s, winning both matches played.

Alway defeated Anna Le 6-0, and Luh defeated Marley Roses, 8-0.
