The Eureka boys won for the second straight week in H-DNL golf on Monday.
Playing in cold and windy conditions at the Redwood Empire Golf and County Club in Fortuna, the Loggers posted three of the top-five individual scores on the day to comfortably outdistance St. Bernard’s in second.
Eureka’s Colton Tracy led the way with a round of 86, three strokes better than Arcata’s Kyle Plumley in second.
For the second straight week, there was no separating the top two freshmen in the field, with Eureka’s Talon Vigil and St. Bernard’s Jack Kramer each shooting a 91, after the two had led the field in the season opener last week with rounds of 85.
Eureka’s Hunter Blevins also continued his strong start to the season with a 92 to round out the top individual scores on the day.
As a team, Eureka shot a 370, followed by Arcata (409) and St. Bernard’s (412).
The H-DNL boys will be back in action next Monday at Baywood Golf and Country Club in Arcata.
