By Ray Hamill — The Humboldt Fastpitch Softball Association announced on Monday that they are moving forward with the 2021 season.
Association founder and president Kelly Wolfe Helms made the announcement on their Facebook page.
“No doubt it will look a bit different than in year’s past, but we will do what it takes to provide a quality experience for the youth of Humboldt County,” the announcement read.
The association was forced to cancel the 2020 season because of the pandemic.
Registration for the 2021 season will open soon, and players who were registered last year will need to register again.
Any fees paid for last year will be credited toward this year.
The plan is to have practices beginning in early April and games from mid-April to mid-June.
