The Arcata Tigers closed out the regular season in H-DNL boys tennis with an undefeated record on Saturday, defeating Fortuna 5-0.

Only two matches were played, with the 7-0 Tigers dropping just a single game.

At No. 1 singles, Yasko Massias defeated Aaron Soli, 6-0, 6-0, while at No. 2 singles, Corbin Luoma got the better of Jamie Hackleberg, 6-1, 6-0.

The Tigers will be heavily favored heading into next week’s league championships at McKinleyville High (not at Arcata, as was previously reported).

The Nos. 4-6 singles will be held on Wednesday starting at 10 a.m., with the Nos. 1-3 singles competing on Saturday, also beginning at 10 a.m.
