Humboldt State men’s basketball announced the addition of two new recruits this week, with Keshawn Hall and John Riddick joining the program for next season.
Hall comes to Humboldt State from Lake Oswego High School in Oregon, after previously playing at Cheyenne High School in Nevada where he was a First Team 3A All-State selection.
“KeShawn will provide added depth to the Point Guard position,” HSU head coach Tae Norwood said. “He is an exciting and fun player to watch. He is ultra-quick and fast with the ball and has the ability to make plays both in transition and in the half-court.”
The 6-9 Riddick, meanwhile, will transfer from the University of Texas at Tyler.
Riddick previously played at Allan Hancock JC, where he was a teammate of current Lumberjack Gabrys Sadaunykas.
“John is a great addition to our program,” Norwood said. “He is skilled and has great length and athleticism. His ability to block shots and protect the rim will be valuable in our full-court pressure defense.”
The two newcomers join 12 recruits Norwood added to the team last summer.
