Happy second birthday to HumboldtSports.com

Birthday pic

By Ray Hamill — Believe it or not, it’s been two years since Humboldt Sports launched, and it’s been a very gratifying and successful run thus far.

Admittedly, this year has not gone exactly as planned, with a global pandemic throwing a proverbial spanner in the works, as it has done for so many of us.

It has, however, made Humboldt Sports more determined than ever to succeed and reminded us of just how much local sports mean to the community here.

A big thank you to everyone who has supported us in our first two years of existence and for all the kind words of support and encouragement.

We will continue to try and bring the most up-to-date and informed sports coverage on the North Coast (and beyond), with plans to expand our coverage in a variety of ways as soon as the pandemic allows us to do so.

In the meantime, we are committed to continued daily coverage, and never forget that despite the lack of community sports activity these days there are always positive and inspiring sports stories to bring you.

If you have a story idea or something you would like to see us cover during these “quiet” times, please email us at humboldtsports1@gmail.com and we’ll do our best to follow up.

Become a sponsor

For anyone interested in becoming a sponsor of HumboldtSports.com and supporting the coverage of local sports, we have some wonderful opportunities available for both sponsorship and advertising.

In the meantime, we would like to say a special thank you to all of our sponsors and advertisers and everyone who has helped us gain a foothold.

Happy birthday to us and looking forward to many more years of local sports coverage.
