The Humboldt Eagles 19Us got the weekend off to an impressive start on Friday night, comfortably getting the better of Klamath Falls 23-6 on the road.
The Eagles scored early and often, with nine different players combining for 19 hits, while taking advantage of nine Klamath errors.
Hayden Bode led the way at the plate, finishing 2-for-6 with a home run and a double, and driving in six runs.
Landon Gomes added a pair of doubles, while Bode Joyner was 3-for-5 with a double, two RBIs, four runs scored and a stolen base.
Cameron Saso and Cole Ayala each also had three hits, as the Eagles improved to 27-7, while Keenan Morris finished 2-for-6 with three RBIs and Caleb Ruiz 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
Ruiz got the win on the mound, allowing just one hit and two walks in four innings, while striking out seven.
Joyner, Ayala and Jaden Gorge each pitched in relief.
Gorge added a base hit and two RBIs, while Lane Thrap had a hit, an RBI and a stolen base.
Parker Rodgers also had an RBI and scored four runs, while Drew Nylander had an RBI.
