The Loggers comfortably took care of business on Monday night, getting the better of visiting Hoopa in boys basketball, 75-41 at Eureka High.
Grant Barrera scored a game-high 11 points in the win, while teammate CJ Chaidez added 10 point and Miles Meynell and Jaeden Thayer nine each.
The Loggers, who are now 13-8 on the season, came out firing and took control of the game early, opening up a 43-17 lead by halftime.
Cahliel Garner and Ian Bennett each chipped in seven points in the win, while Gary Jimenez and Ethan Pesch both finished with six points.
For Hoopa, which dropped to 3-18 on the season, Tavis Young scored a team-high nine points, while John Smith and Jasper Hostler each scored seven and Joseph McGinnis six.
Eureka resumes Big 5 action at Fortuna on Tuesday night, while Hoopa plays at South Fork on Friday.
