The Fortuna Huskies got back to winning ways in boys basketball with a 54-44 win over visiting Ferndale on Monday night.
Jaden Kelley scored a team-high 13 points in the win, as the Huskies ended a two-game losing skid to go to 9-11 on the season.
Angel Ornelas added 12 points in the win and Branson Gans and Fernando Atilano each chipped in 10.
For Ferndale, which dropped its fourth straight game and is now 12-8, Emmitt Albee scored a team-best 13 points and Lane Branstetter added nine points.
The Cats will try to get back on track when they travel to Hoopa for a key Little 4 game on Wednesday, while the Huskies will resume Big 5 play when they play at Arcata, also on Wednesday.
