Registration is under way for the upcoming Humboldt Fastpitch Softball season, which begins in mid-March.

Interested players can register online at madrivergirlssoftball.blogspot.com in age groups from 6U to 16U.

Last spring 375 girls aged 4 to 16 participated in the recreational league, which runs until mid-June.

The cost of registration is $85 for 6U and 8U, and $110 for 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U.

Registration runs through March 1, with a late fee of $15 for any player registered after February 23.

Assessments for the upcoming season will be held on March 1.
