By Ray Hamill — The Del Norte Warriors were too strong for the Loggers at Eureka High on Wednesday night, winning their Big 5 opener in boys basketball by a comfortable margin, 64-47.

The Warriors, who are 12-1 on the season, pulled away from the home team with a couple of big runs in the second and third quarters, opening up a 21-point lead late in the third.
