The Del Norte girls swept all three of their games at the Yreka basketball tournament over the weekend, improving to 4-0 on the season.

The Warriors defeated Modoc 65-37, Henley 61-54 and Brookings-Harbor 55-46.

They return home to host a quality Hidden Valley team on Tuesday night in what should be a good early test for this year’s team.

The Del Norte boys, meanwhile, also traveled to Yreka to play four games over the weekend, with several players missing while still playing football.

The Warriors were 3-1 over the three days, opening with back-to-back victories over Mt. Shasta (59-50) and Yreka (48-37) before falling to Grants Pass by a score of 53-39.

The Warriors closed out the tournament with a victory over Etna and are now 4-1.
