A pair of local college cross country runners closed out impressive seasons on Saturday.
Humboldt State’s Daniel Tull placed 56th out of 263 runners at the NCAA Division II Men’s Cross Country Championships in Sacramento, finishing the 10K race in a time of 29 minutes, 31.2 seconds.
Tull finished just 20 seconds from being an All-American, which goes to the top 40 finishers.
Also in action on Saturday, College of the Redwoods freshman Kaleb Traficante placed 147th at the community college state championships in Fresno.
Traficante had a standout season, placing first in the Golden Valley Conference championships a few weeks back.
