By Ray Hamill — The Del Norte Warriors ran over the Eureka Loggers on their way to a Big 4 championship on Friday night, winning 48-19 in Crescent City.

The home team broke open a tight game with five second-half TDs, with a pair of senior running backs leading the way on senior night.

Chase Blackburn ran for an incredible 255 yards on just 10 carries, including second-half TD runs of 49 and 57 yards.

“Unbelievable,” was how head coach Nick White described Blackburn’s play.

“That kid played ridiculous,” he said.

So too did Mitchell, who found the end zone four times, including twice in the first half to keep his team in the game and give them a 14-13 edge at halftime.
