South Fork Cubs complete unbeaten run through NCL-III

The South Fork Cubs closed out a third consecutive season undefeated in the NCL-III with a comprehensive 82-20 victory at Potter Valley in eight person football over the weekend.

The Cubs rushed for 294 yards and seven touchdowns in the lopsided win, closing out league play 4-0 and improving to 6-2 on the season.

They have not lost a league game since switching to eight person football three years ago.

Sean Hassall-Hoss rushed for 87 yards and three TDs in the win, while Alex Harding rushed for 87 yards and younger brother John Harding ran for 67 yards and three TDs.

Riley Gallagher also ran in for a touchdown, while Alex Harding added 61 yards and a TD on four receptions, all from Hassall-Hoss.

The Cubs also had seven interceptions on defense, including three by Gallagher and two by Alex Harding.

The Cubs will have a tougher challenge this Friday night in Miranda against a Tomales team that is 5-2.

  1. How do you have seven interceptions in a football game played with six less overall players on the field creating more Open Spaces… that’s just unfathomable…
