By Ray Hamill — There were plenty of highlights for the Hoopa Warriors on Friday night, as they pulled out a 32-21 come-from-behind win over McKinleyville at the Redwood Bowl.

In particular, running back Tristin Campbell and receiver AJ Perez had huge games in the win.

Campbell scored a first-half TD and had a two-point conversion, and was inspirational in the second half, hobbling on and off the field while battling injury but refusing to leave the game for a short-handed Hoopa.

AJ Perez was huge on both sides of the ball, pulling in some big receptions, including a 12-yard TD catch late in the first quarter.

On defense Perez also had an interception at the goal line late in the game to essentially seal the win.

Watch some of their highlights here, including a  brilliant reception by Perez in the third quarter where he bounced away from four tacklers for extra yards before finally being taken to the ground.

Quarterback John Smith also scored on an eight-yard run late in the first half, and passed for two TDs, one to Perez and one to Carlos Aguilar.

Not to be out-done, Larry Tracy also broke free for a 93-yard TD run.
