By Ray Hamill — The local youth cross country season is up and running, with races being held twice weekly for kindergarten through eighth-graders.

And there’s been no lack of enthusiasm from the competitors, with hundreds of young runners on hand enjoying the experience.

On Tuesday, Blue Lake hosted the latest round of races, with a large crowd on hand.
