By Ray Hamill — Big plays were the order of the day on Friday, as the Eureka Loggers posted an impressive 35-21 win over Shasta at Albee Stadium.

The Eureka playmakers came to play, with four touchdowns of 25 or more yards, and three plays of 65 or more yards.

On their opening possession of the game, the Loggers scored on a 65-yard touchdown, when quarterback Trevor Bell found a wide-open Josiah Graham, who comfortably took it to the house.

On the ensuing possession, Bell combined with receiver Trent Morrow on an 82-yard pass, while late in the second quarter, running back Lamarie Dunn broke free down the sideline for a 79-yard TD run.

“Our playmakers tonight made a lot of plays, which is what you have to do if you want to win games,” head coach Jason White said.
