No one can accuse Avary Henry of not being consistent.
The Arcata standout shot an 82 for the third straight week in H-DNL girls golf, comfortably taking top spot at Beau Pre on Thursday and solidifying her place atop the season standings.
McKinleyville’s Phoebe Sundberg was next best on the day with a 90, followed by younger sister and teammate Isabella Sundberg with a 95.
Arcata’s Kate Plumley rounded out the top four with a 98.
Henry now leads Phoebe Sundberg by four strokes in the season standings.
Arcata’s depth was evident again as the Tigers took the team event for the third straight week, also further strengthening their grasp on the season standings.
The Arcata girls shot a 411 team score, with McKinleyville second (472) and Eureka third (550).
Eureka’s Marissa Highley and Arcata’s Brooke Bisgrove tied for fifth best individual score on the day with a 109.
Gracie Betts paced Fortuna with a 120.
The H-DNL will be back in action at Baywood next week.
