Saturday’s loss a good ‘learning experience’ for Miller

Eureka MMA fighter Tyson Miller lost a close decision at the San Francisco Dragon House fight night on Saturday.

Miller, 21, lost to Dupra Goodman in a 180-pound fight, and is now 3-1.

Miller’s trainer John “Juan” Thompson said the short two-minute round format prevented his fighter from finding a rhythm, but added that “it was a great fight and an even better learning experience for him.”

Miller fights out of the Institute of Combat in Arcata.
