The Northern Humboldt Giants scored two runs in each of the fourth and fifth innings to rally from an early deficit in a 4-2 win over the Southern Humboldt 76ers in Arcata on Tuesday evening.
Dean Wellick pitched five innings for the win, allowing two earned runs on four hits and two walks.
The visiting 76ers scored both of their runs in the top of the second, with Wellick and reliever Brode Sargent holding them at bay the remainder of the way.

Sargent pitched two innings for the save, allowing two hits.
At the plate, Mason Nichols and Kyler Carr each had a double and an RBI for the Giants to lead a five-hit team performance, with Nick Parker, Cayden Lee and Jake Reeser each also finishing with a hit.
Lee drove in two runs.

For the 76ers, Regan Nyberg was 2-for-3 and Joey Quen had a base hit.
On the mound, Aaron Head-Mason pitched four solid innings, allowing two runs and working his way out a couple of jams.
The 76ers play the Humboldt Eagles at Crusader Field this evening at 5 p.m.
