The CR men, who defeated Sacramento City College 95-76 in their playoff opener at home last weekend, will play at City College of San Francisco, the top-ranked team in the state.

The Rams are unbeaten in 29 games this season and are seeded No. 1 in the NorCal bracket.

Tip off is set for 7 p.m. and local fans unable to make the trip can take in the action via the City College of San Francisco Facebook page.

The CR women, meanwhile will also play at the top seeds in their bracket, traveling to play San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, also at 7 p.m.

The game will not be streamed live by the home team, but the Corsairs are working on streaming the action themselves through their own athletic Facebook pages.

  1. Ray, I’ve enjoyed your reporting of local sports, you’ve been able to capture the essence of games and players as no one else has done. It might be of interest to find out what the women’s team of 1980 did.The team was made up of a strong Fortuna team that had won the state championship even though there was no official championship back then. Just a thought. Keep up the good work. Thanks, Gordon Hunt Sr.
